Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM Monday through Friday is required.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL.
• Experience with Combined IT and security work with systems analysis, applications development, database design and administration (5-10 years).
• Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards (3-5 years).
• Experience with Information security tools based on NIST standards (3+ years).
• Experience coaching junior staff.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with Checkpoint firewalls.
• Experience with Global Protect VPNs.
• Experience with Next Generation Firewall (NGFW).
• Experience with Firewall deployments, rule migrations, and firewall administration.
• Experience with Cloud network infrastructure and security policies.
• Experience with Log collectors and network monitoring.
• Experience with Schematic diagramming tools for infrastructure layout mapping.
• Experience with LAN/WAN, routing and switching.
• Experience with Network segmentation.
• Experience with Identity and access management.
• Experience with Incident response and vulnerability management.
• Experience with Disaster recovery.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field.
Preferred:
• Experience with NGFW Palo Alto security products.
• Experience with Checkpoint security products.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).
Responsibilities:
• Perform security administration to configure and document firewall infrastructure access rules and work with peripheral network components using Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Global Protect VPNs.
• Execute firewall deployments, rule migrations, firewall administration, and convert existing rule-based policies onto new platforms.
• Work with critical core network infrastructure devices including Next Gen Firewall, VPNs, log collectors, and monitors.
• Configure firewall, security policies, and monitor network traffic within cloud network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation following NIST guidelines.
• Design and maintain secure network architectures, segmentation strategies, access controls, firewalls, VPNs, and encryption technologies.
• Perform security risk assessments and develop risk-based response strategies for enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
