Type: Temporary Project.
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Houston, TX.
• Experience with Python (5+ years).
• Experience with JavaScript (5+ years).
• Experience with PostgreSQL in application development.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with Scripting and monitoring (Data-Dog).
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Web applications.
• Experience with Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs.
• Experience with High volume traffic application development and system design.
• Experience with Git best practices.
• Experience with Operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Preferred:
• Experience with SQL Server.
• Experience with Web scrapers.
• Experience with EDIs/XML/CSV reading.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Energy retail business operations (sales, pricing, billing, transactions).
Responsibilities:
• Perform database administration specialized with PostgreSQL in application development, including DR backups and infrastructure upgrades.
• Handle DevOps administration across Docker, Linux, and AWS with scripting and monitoring.
• Develop full-stack applications using Docker/Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, web scrapers, and EDIs/XML/CSV reading solutions.
• Support high volume traffic application development and system design.
