Required:

• Experience with software quality engineering, SDET, or software development/testing (5+ years)
• Experience with automated testing frameworks;
• Experience with testing APIs, web applications, distributed systems, and cloud applications;
• Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or similar programming/scripting languages;
• Experience with integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum product development;
• Experience with facilitating Agile ceremonies and improving team delivery practices;

Preferred:

• Experience with testing AWS-hosted applications;
• Experience with performance and load testing;
• Experience with validating data-intensive applications and data pipelines;
• Experience with testing AI/ML or LLM-based systems;
• Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar certification;
• Experience with observability and production monitoring;
• Experience with highly regulated or critical infrastructure environments;

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Define and implement the overall quality engineering strategy for the team;
• Develop automated testing frameworks covering APIs, UI, data pipelines, integrations, and end-to-end workflows;
• Establish regression testing and release-validation processes, and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines;
• Coordinate functional, integration, performance, security, and reliability testing across cloud deployments;
• Define release-readiness criteria and establish defect management, root-cause analysis, and quality metrics;
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives;
• Track dependencies, impediments, technical debt, and delivery risks, driving continuous improvement through delivery metrics;
