Required:
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Structural Engineering.
Preferred:
- Experience with substation design, engineering, or operation of high-voltage transmission and substation facilities;
- Experience with NERC reliability standards, FAC-008 requirements, or utility compliance programs;
- Experience reviewing engineering studies, calculations, or technical reports;
- Experience with utility-scale renewable generation facilities, battery energy storage systems, transmission systems, or substations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and validate FAC-008 Facility Ratings reports for transmission, substation, solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other Bulk Electric System (BES) facilities;
- Develop a working knowledge of Facility Ratings methodologies and applicable compliance requirements;
- Analyze engineering reports, technical documentation, and supporting calculations to ensure consistency with established methodologies;
- Track report progress, key milestones, and performance metrics using Microsoft applications, including Excel, Access, Word, and OneNote;
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Engineers of Record (EORs), consultants, and Power Generation personnel to facilitate timely report completion;
- Support weekly Facility Ratings status meetings and provide updates on report review progress, outstanding actions, and schedule risks;
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or technical issues and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
