Required:
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahasee, FL (required);
- Experience in developing solutions requiring analysis and research;
- Software development experience (7+ years);
- Experience with Three Layered Service Pattern;
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, FoxPro;
- Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, .NET Standard, MVC, Entity Model (EDMX);
- Experience with XML – Web Services:
- Experience with Visual Studio;
- Experience with IIS;
- Experience with C#, SQL Query, LINQ;
- Experience with Java Script;
- Experience with latest version of HTML;
- Experience with latest version of CSS;
- Experience with Telerik Kendo UI;
- Experience with SSRS;
- Experience with Multiple technology stacks;
- Experience with OData and OData REST APIs;
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud;
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines;
- Experience working on one or more projects as a project team member;
- Experience working on large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical
- Environments;
- Experience developing large and complex systems through the entire software development
- lifecycle (SDLC);
- Experience working with project stakeholders identifying and refining solution requirements;
- Experience driving critical decisions about the following key solution aspects: organization of
- the solution, high-level structure, main components, interfaces, performance, resilience, reuse,
- comprehensibility, scalability, and security;
- Experience leading and mentoring technical teams;
- Experience with Network and System development and deployment;
- Experience working with OData and OData REST APIs;
- Experience creating and monitoring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines;
- Experience performing code reviews to ensure compliance with identified standards of practice;
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Preferred:
- Experience working with State of Florida financial systems and governmental accounting, including DFS’ Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) and Florida Planning Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM) systems;
- Experience with Windows;
- Experience with Scripting, YAML, XML, JavaScript Libraries, VB.Net and ASP.Net;
- Experience with Azure AD, Federation Services, Windows Administration, Active Directory, IIS Administration, Auth0 O, Auth 2.0 O, Data and OData Rest API’s, Bootstrap, Toad for Oracle, MSBuild Tools, Azure DevOps, SQL Server Reporting and Visual Studio.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the Agency's designated project manager or the Lead Applications Development Supervisor and participate in and lead activities as directed.
- Comply with Division of IT processes and standards, producing work products and documentation in the Agency ISDM template format in compliance with the Florida Department of Management Services' Florida Digital Service, Chapter 60GG-1, Florida Administrative Code.
- Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, support, and enhance software applications in conformance with the Client's methodologies, standards, and practices.
- Participate in component and data architecture design, and performance monitoring.
- Review and confirm understanding of the interface layouts for the Client's business needs, and complete interface design, build, and unit test activities.
- Provide software development programming estimates as directed.
- Develop and execute software test plans as directed.
