Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Remote. Please note this position is for 3rd shift (10pm - 8am) Wednesday - Saturday.

Required:
• Experience in Cybersecurity monitoring within a 24/7 Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC).
• Experience with Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
• Experience with Antivirus (AV).
• Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
• Experience with Network intrusion detection and prevention.
• Experience with Host-based security.
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) monitoring tools.
• Experience with Cybersecurity Incident Response (triage, contain, eradicate).
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) security requirements.
• High School Diploma / GED.
• Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience.
Preferred:
• Experience in a Cybersecurity role via internship or job.
• Security+ or similar certification.
Responsibilities:
• Administer, operate, and monitor information security sensors, logging, alerting and other detection mechanisms to identify and respond to threats.
• As part of a Cybersecurity Incident Response Team - triage, contain, and eradicate threats to the Client's assets and data.
• Act as subject matter expert for one or multiple assigned Cybersecurity technology stacks (e.g. SIEM, network intrusion detection and prevention, host-based security, OT monitoring tools).
• Collaborate with security architecture to identify, evaluate, and recommend new security technologies for suitability within the Client's environment and security posture.
• Communicate ongoing Cybersecurity activities, priorities and risk measurements or mitigations at multiple organizational levels.
• Provide guidance for security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts, participating in organizational projects as required.
• Respond to and triage alerts coming from different tools including IPS, EDR, Phishing, AV and SIEM.
