Responsibilities:
• Perform advanced database administration tasks for databases used by applications with complex data models, workflows, and reports.
• Assist the team in creating and maintaining logical and physical data models.
• Work with Full-stack Java applications on the Client's cloud platform (Azure/AWS) within an Agile (Scrum) environment.
• Migrate data from Oracle applications to SQL schemas and load it into collections.
• Optimize database performance during and after migration, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement monitoring solutions to track database health and performance metrics.
• Perform database tuning, indexing, customization, transformation, data migrations/conversions, installations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching.

Required:
- Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client's site in Austin, TX.
- Experience with Database (10+ years).
- Experience with Oracle, Microsoft SQL (or similar) (8+ years).
- Experience with Relational Database Administration (SQL Server or Oracle) (8+ years).
- Experience with Database design, analysis and performance tuning (8+ years).
- Experience with Database structures, data analysis, performance tuning (8+ years).
- Experience with Designing enterprise applications and/or services (8+ years).
- Experience with Creating technical and functional design documentation (8+ years).
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle using Agile methodology (Scrum) (8+ years).
- Experience with Multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications) (8+ years).
Preferred:
- Large volume databases, high availability, and disaster recovery infrastructure (8+ years).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (6+ years).
- Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) data from various sources into Azure SQL (6+ years).
- Experience with DevOps technology including CI/CD pipeline and build and deployment tools such as Git (3+ years).
- Experience with Java/J2EE Enterprise Development (3+ years).
- Microsoft Azure Certification, DBA Associate Certification.
