Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);
  • Experience with Windows Server engineering in enterprise environments [10+ years total, including 5+ years hands-on];
  • Experience with Windows Server build, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, hardening, and lifecycle management;
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation;
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Git, and CI/CD practices;
  • Experience with Windows Server golden images, hardened templates, and automated deployment patterns;
  • Experience with Windows Server security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and CIS/NIST compliance standards;
  • Experience with Group Policy Objects in partnership with Active Directory teams;
  • Experience with monitoring requirements, alerting thresholds, CMDB standards, and ServiceNow processes.

Preferred:
  • Experience with Azure or Azure Local;
  • Experience supporting SQL Server infrastructure requirements from a Windows Server perspective;
  • Experience with Citrix environments;
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and common Windows Server roles;
  • Experience with Rubrik backup and recovery processes;
  • Experience with Windows Failover Clustering, IIS, Windows Admin Center, PerfMon, ProcMon, Wireshark, or similar tools;
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms and observability tools;
  • Experience in regulated or security-focused enterprise environments;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience);
  • Microsoft, Azure, Terraform, Ansible, ITIL, security, or related infrastructure certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design, engineering, and implementation of enterprise Windows Server infrastructure solutions across physical and virtual environments;
  • Act as technical product owner for Windows Server infrastructure services, including standards, roadmap development, lifecycle planning, and platform improvement;
  • Develop and maintain Windows Server build standards, golden images, hardened templates, and configuration baselines using tools such as Packer;
  • Define and implement Windows Server automation using PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and CI/CD practices;
  • Support Windows Server security hardening, vulnerability remediation, and compliance alignment with CIS, NIST, and enterprise security standards;
  • Define monitoring standards, alerting requirements, operational thresholds, service catalog offerings, and CMDB standards for Windows Server services;
  • Partner with backup, resiliency, security, application, and infrastructure teams on cross-functional projects; lead technical workstreams and provide direction to indirect project resources.
