Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL;
• Experience with Classic ASP (5 years);
• Experience with ASP.NET (5 years);
• Experience with Angular (5 years);
• Experience with React (5 years);
• Experience with SQL Server (5 years);
• Experience with Oracle (5 years);
• Experience with Azure (5 years);
• Experience with SQL;
• Experience with Software development and agile best practices;
• Experience with on-premises and cloud-based web applications;
• Experience Implementing solutions with multiple data sources and across a variety of technologies;
• Experience with Florida PALM;
• Bachelor's Degree in a field of study related to technology or finance (work experience can substitute on a year for year basis).
Preferred:
• Experience with Full stack development;
• Experience with SCRUM Framework and Agile methods;
• Experience with Financial systems such as ERP;
• Experience with ETL, Data Warehousing, Operational Data Stores, Data Lakes, and Master Data Management.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze current web applications and document the specifications.
• Work with management to develop an overall remediation strategy for all impacted web-based applications and databases.
• Analyze existing web applications and work with business users to determine how these applications can be improved based on current business needs and within the constraints of remediation activities.
• Remediate web applications based on analysis to prepare them for use of PALM.
• Work with database administrators from the Office of Information Technology to create database views and stored procedures that will facilitate the remediation of application databases.
• Update web applications to incorporate chart of account and other changes mandated by Florida PALM.
• Analyze financial data and make recommendations to improve the data model of financial systems.
