Required:
Experience with Oracle 19c version or higher (8 years)
Experience with ASM, Clusterware (8 years)
Experience with GoldenGate, Active Data Guard (8 years)
Experience with Linux, SQL (8 years)
Preferred:
Experience working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government) (4 years)
Experience working with a hosting vendor (2 years)
Experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft products (2 years)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Manage and administer enterprise Oracle database infrastructure, specifically focusing on Oracle 19c and higher versions
Configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle Grid Infrastructure, including Automatic Storage Management (ASM) and Clusterware, to ensure robust storage and cluster operations
Implement and manage high-availability and disaster recovery solutions utilizing Oracle GoldenGate and Active Data Guard to guarantee maximum system uptime and data protection
Develop and execute advanced automation scripts using Linux shell and SQL to streamline database administration tasks, performance tuning, and system monitoring
Apply public sector IT experience to ensure database infrastructure complies with federal, state, or local government security, regulatory, and operational standards
Collaborate with external hosting vendors and managed service providers to coordinate infrastructure deployment, support, and service level agreements
Support and optimize database environments hosting Oracle PeopleSoft applications, ensuring performance and compatibility with enterprise ERP systems
