14689 – .NET Application Architect (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• .NET application development (.NET Core/Framework/Standard, C#) (10+ years)
• Hands-on .NET solution architecture (blueprints, POCs, component/data architecture, scalability & security decisions) (3+ years);
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies (5 years).
• Experience designing solutions implemented in cloud environments: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud (3 years).
• Experience creating and monitoring continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (3 years).
•Experience packaging, deploying, and monitoring solutions implemented in cloud environments (2 years).
• Experience designing solutions implemented in on-premises environments (2 years).
• Experience mentoring tech leads and developers (3 years);
• Experience performing code reviews to ensure compliance with identified standards of practice (3 years)
• Experience with authentication providers like ForgeRock or Okta.
• Experience with OData and OData REST APIs.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance requirements and secure data handling practices;
Preferred:
• Experience with SharePoint, Laserfiche, or SSRS/Tableau reporting tools;
• Experience with SFTP, web services, and SSL/TLS protocols;
• Experience with Section 508 compliance and W3C web standards;
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and single sign-on (SSO) implementations;
• Experience with government IT environments or state agency projects;
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and enhance software applications in compliance with agency methodologies and standards;
• Participate in and lead component and data architecture design, interface design, and performance monitoring activities;
• Create and manage SQL queries to analyze data, respond to ad hoc requests, troubleshoot, and investigate anomalies;
• Work on pipeline and release processes using Azure DevOps and coordinate production deployments through the agency’s change control process;
• Develop and execute software test plans and provide development programming estimates as directed;
• Establish connectivity to internal and external systems and adapt to changes in work plans based on customer support needs;
• Submit weekly progress/status reports and monthly timesheets in accordance with agency requirements.
