.NET Developer (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 6+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday required).
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Pay Rate: C2C $54.60 || C2C $67.86 || C2C $83.46


Required:
  • Experience with software development, application integration, and system analysis (5+ years);
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, JavaScript (AJAX, jQuery), HTML5/CSS3, XML, and JSON;
  • Experience with SQL Server including queries, database objects, performance tuning, and reporting;
  • Experience with the full Microsoft stack (.NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server);
  • Experience with Student Information Systems and educational applications;
  • Experience with source control, build tools, SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft Office

Preferred:
  • Experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and dependency injection;
  • Experience with SSRS and ETL processes;
  • Experience with Agile methodologies;
  • Experience with web services (SOAP/REST);
  • Experience with reporting tools and Infinite Campus or similar SIS;
  • Experience with multi-platform systems;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business/Management, or related field

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Analyze district functions and requirements, responding to requests and proactively identifying improvement opportunities;
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain district application systems, including vendor-provided solutions;
  • Provide data solutions (reports, extracts, dashboards) and work with stakeholders to define optimal approaches;
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including critical or emergency situations;
  • Plan and coordinate development efforts, track progress, and manage issues throughout the development lifecycle;
  • Evaluate new technologies and software, making recommendations based on business needs, system compatibility, and resource requirements;
  • Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to users and peers on system functionality and best practices
