14671 - Business Analyst (Onsite) - Tallahassee, FL
Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL;
Experience with IT business/industry work (7+ years);
Experience with Business analysis on IT projects (7+ years);
Experience with Agile Software Development methodologies (7+ years);
Experience with Requirements Gathering (7+ years);
Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Team Foundation Server (TFS) (7+ years);
Experience with Conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions with stakeholders and subject matter experts (7+ years);
Experience with Translating functional specifications into technical specifications from which programmers can construct the solution (7+ years);
Experience with Translating business requirements into use cases/user stories and acceptance criteria (7+ years);
Experience with Translating information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models (7+ years);
Experience with Creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures (7+ years);
Experience with Collaborating with QA teams, coordinating UAT schedules, conducting UAT sessions, and guiding business testers through workflows (7+ years);
Experience with Process model diagram tools such as Microsoft Visio (7+ years);
Experience with Manual testing; validating system functionality by authoring test scenarios and executing manual checks against business requirements (5+ years);
Experience with Automation testing; designing, writing, and executing automation test scripts to verify system functionality and finding software bugs (5+ years);
Experience with Deriving business process and data requirements from reading and analyzing process and systems documentation;
Experience with Creating data dictionaries.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a liaison between business owners, contract manager, and the development team;
Coordinate and facilitate Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions;
Translate information from meetings and written materials into mock-ups, process models, and/or process flow models;
Meet with stakeholders to discuss business processes;
Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications;
Assist with creating process flow models and documentation;
Support the planning, design, development, test, implementation, and maintenance of the Client's applications and information technology projects.
