GIS Analyst (Onsite)

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
  • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
  • Experience working with CLEAR (Conservation, Lands, Easements, and Recreation) (2+ years)
  • Experience working with LITS systems/tools. (2+ years)
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. (2+ years)
  • Experience using ArcPy for data validation, quality control, and geospatial data analysis. (2+ years)
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Qlik Sense. (4+ years)
  • Experience with data reconciliation, data validation, and QA/testing processes.
  • Experience with Python scripting, ArcPy, and geospatial automation. (3+ years)
  • Experience with application security, role-based access control, and user provisioning processes.
  • Experience with web content management and administration using Drupal.
  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, QA/testing, and UAT processes.
  • Experience collaborating with developers, analysts, and business users for system enhancements and module development.
  • Experience with cadastral GIS mapping applications.
  • Experience with Environmental Assessment or Natural Resource processing systems.
  • Experience with projects related to cadastral mapping, property tax records, and/or land ownership, and title research
  • Experience working with geospatial data.
  • Experience in using sound judgment, and displaying foresight to identify potential problems.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage and support CLEAR (Conservation, Lands, Easements, and Recreation) and LITS systems to ensure accurate land records, easement tracking, and natural resource data management
  • Develop, maintain, and automate geospatial workflows using ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcPy, and Python for data validation, quality control, and spatial analysis
  • Design and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Qlik Sense to support decision-making for conservation and land management programs
  • Perform data reconciliation, validation, and QA/testing processes to ensure integrity of geospatial, cadastral, and environmental datasets
  • Administer and enhance Drupal-based web content management systems, including role-based access control, user provisioning, and application security practices
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders through Agile/SDLC processes to support system enhancements, module development, and UAT activities
  • Apply knowledge of cadastral mapping, property records, land ownership research, and environmental regulatory processes to inform GIS solutions and business workflows
