Required:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
Experience with IT work in infrastructure/network environments performing network engineering (hardware and/or software), design, planning, and implementation (3-5 years);
Experience with technical documentation of work performed in standard project team format;
Experience with requirements and specifications development for contract procurements;
Experience with network/system performance monitoring and reporting;
Experience with security of deployed applications;
Experience with network maintenance coordination;
Experience with Chapter 282, F.S. requirements;
Experience with network monitoring tools including SIEM tools;
Experience with network Operations Center ticketing systems;
Experience with confidentiality of records in accordance with Chapter 119, F.S.
Experience with BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN, and VPN;
Experience with Cisco and Palo Alto;
Experience with On-premises network environment.
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certification.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and report on State Network performance using network monitoring and SIEM tools, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.
Provide technical documentation of work performed in standard project team format, including complex reports, plans, and briefings for relevant stakeholders.
Develop requirements and specifications for contract procurements in support of the DivTel Bureau of Engineering.
Coordinate and assist with network maintenance activities while providing support to ensure the security of deployed applications.
Provide timely updates and status reports on network performance and issues to executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Facilitate team and customer meetings, communicating technical matters clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Serve as liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams, occasionally leading project teams and coaching junior technical staff.
