PeopleSoft Architect, Financial Systems (onsite)

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:

- Financials and Payroll implementations
- Data cleansing and conversion
- Data integration
- System, integration and end-user testing
- Cutover planning and execution
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Required:
- Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
- Experience performing activities directly related to ERP (5+ years)
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple levels, from leadership (e.g., CIO), to technical and functional staff.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
- Experience using Smartsheet or other similar collaboration tools.
- Experience implementing PeopleSoft or Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (or legacy versions of this solution).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technologies, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.
Preferred:
- Experience working with the State or with other state governments similar in size in terms of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
- Experience implementing:
- Financials and Payroll implementations
- Data cleansing and conversion
- Data integration
- System, integration and end-user testing
- Cutover planning and execution
- Knowledge of PeopleTools 8.62+ and fluid page development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Support hands-on collaboration and project delivery
- Complete custom programming, configuration, event mapping, and other technical assignments as directed;
- Follow established project standards for all assignments;
- Serve as an ERP subject matter expert, providing solution recommendations;
- Evaluate designs and configurations for alternatives related to financials and payroll systems;
- Complete knowledge transfer and training activities as directed;
- Assist the project team in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues
