Required:
• Information Technology (IT) experience (10 years).
• Experience with Managing an IT program area (5 years).
• IT leadership experience (3 years).
• Experience with IT program and project management.
• Experience managing highly complex IT programs consisting of multiple cloud solution projects.
• Experience with Technical writing and documentation.
• Experience with Document version control and collaborative document management.
• Experience with Procurement procedures.
• Experience with Florida State Agency IT Projects.
• Experience with Florida legislative reporting practices (e.g., Operational Work Plans, spend plans).
• Project Management certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that the collective output of all projects aligns with the Client's goals and objectives (Strategic Alignment).
• Measuring whether the program actually improved the business after individual projects were completed (Benefits Realization).
• Managing cross-project dependencies where the output of one project is required for the start of another (Cross-Project Dependency Mapping).
• Navigating high-level executive relationships and board-level expectations (Stakeholder Political Management).
• Establishing standards, reporting structures, and rules of engagement that all project managers under the program must follow (Program Governance).
• Shifting budgets and personnel between different projects to ensure highest-priority initiatives have what they need (Resource Capacity Planning).
• Decomposing specific projects into manageable tasks and sub-tasks (Work Breakdown Structure creation).
