14623 - Enterprise Systems IT PM (Billing Systems) (onsite) – Houston TX Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston TX (required);
Experience with IT project management with increasing delivery ownership (8+ years);
Experience with enterprise system implementations or transformations;
Experience with billing, pricing, sales, or financial systems in a complex business environment;
Experience with project financials, WBS structures, and IT governance;
Preferred:
Experience with energy retail, utilities, or regulated industries;
Experience with C&I Gas and Power retail business models;
Experience managing projects with multiple systems, vendors, and integrations;
Experience with Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery approaches.
Responsibilities:
Own full lifecycle project management for C&I power and gas IT initiatives, from intake and planning through execution, go-live, and stabilization;
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, dependency maps, and cutover strategies;
Serve as primary IT Project Manager for a major C&I gas and power billing consolidation initiative, merging six disparate billing systems into a single platform;
Lead testing strategy and execution (SIT, UAT, parallel billing, mock cutovers) and own go-live readiness and post-implementation stabilization;
Manage delivery of IT projects supporting pricing engines, pricing governance workflows, and deal structuring tools;
Lead IT delivery for sales-facing systems including CRM, quoting, proposal generation, and contract workflows;
Own project-level financial tracking, capitalization decisions, forecasting, and governance alignment.
