14566 - Energy Market Analyst (Onsite) – Juno Beach, FL

Estimated Duration: 6+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Technical Services experience;
• Experience with MS Office Suite, including intermediate-level Excel;
Preferred:
• Experience with generator operations or control center environments [1+ years];
• Experience with ISO/RTO protocols and market portals (ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, SERC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, IESO, AESO);
• Experience with transmission reservation and tagging systems;
• Experience with power generation economics and dispatch characteristics;
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Senior Level Physical Real Time Desk traders/operators in overseeing generation fleet operations in real-time markets;
• Complete daily recurring shift tasks in accordance with established procedures;
• Monitor and interact with ISO/RTO market portals across multiple regions (ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, SERC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, IESO, AESO);
• Manage transmission reservations and tagging systems;
• Apply knowledge of power generation economics and dispatch characteristics to support real-time operations;
• Communicate clearly and accurately with internal teams and third-party customers regarding generation fleet status;
• Follow established protocols and procedures while using sound judgment for adaptations and modifications;
