Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Our Client is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence Developer 19370
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience with business intelligence development, managing reports and data sources (6+ years);
• Experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, security and administration concepts, advanced-level computations, and the Microsoft BI stack (SSRS, Power Query, MDX, DAX);
• Experience with AWS and Redshift databases;
• Experience with writing and optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and database tables/views;
• Experience with Data Warehouse concepts, tools, and data platform design;
• Experience with Agile methodology and scrum ceremonies;
• Experience with API integrations, workflow automation, or cloud-based development tools;
• Experience with reporting architecture design, data visualization portals, and reporting best practices;
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field;

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and manage reporting catalogs, including comparing new requests against existing inventory and making recommendations for adding or removing content;
• Integrate identified strategies across multiple reporting programs/projects and ensure alignment with business strategies and management priorities;
• Facilitate the inclusion of multiple disparate data sources from the data platform/data warehouse into the overall reporting framework;
• Collaborate with Principal Solutions Architects to ensure the data platform design is optimally aligned with reporting tools for best performance and end-user experience;
• Build and modify database tables and views, optimize SQL queries and indexes;
• Participate in functional, technical, and user acceptance testing efforts and resolve identified defects;
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reporting best practices and standards, and assist in developing the project scope for multiple complex projects;

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in West Palm Beach, FL /Miami, FL (required);
• Experience building Power BI dashboards and data models (Power Query, DAX, relationships).
• Experience with SQL (building and optimizing complex queries for analytics workloads).
• Experience building repeatable automation using Python and/or R for data preparation, validation, or report automation.
• Experience with enterprise source systems such as Salesforce data and/or SAP, and translating those into consumable analytics structures.
• Experience with agile.
• Experience with reporting, analytics, and performance monitoring.
• Experience with maintaining clear documentation of metric definitions, dataset logic, refresh schedules, and support processes to ensure transparency and data consistency.

Preferred:
• Experience with EDP (or comparable enterprise data platform / warehouse) and enterprise engagement processes.
• Experience with Databricks (data prep, notebooks, pipelines).
• Experience with Power Platform automation (Power Automate / Power Apps / Dataverse).
• Experience building standardized metric libraries / shared KPI definitions across a department.

Responsibilities:
• Assess current-state reporting and analytics across legacy CIS, SAP, and Salesforce platforms to define a future-state vision aligned with FPL Customer Service transformation goals
• Design, build, and deploy scalable Power BI dashboards and data models using Power Query, DAX, and robust relationship logic to support operational and regulatory reporting needs
• Develop and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and model data from enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP) for analytics and performance monitoring
• Automate data validation, preparation, and report distribution workflows using Python or R to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of insights
• Translate complex enterprise source system data into consistent, consumable analytics structures with clear documentation of metric definitions, logic, refresh cadence, and support protocols
• Collaborate with in-house analytics and technology teams in an agile environment to iteratively deliver high-impact reporting solutions that evolve through the migration lifecycle
• Establish foundational practices for data quality, standardized KPIs, and repeatable analytics pipelines—laying groundwork for predictive and AI-enabled capabilities post-migration
