14535 – Business Analyst (onsite) – Austin, TX

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar roles (8 years)
• Experience with agile methodology and user story analysis and serving as a liaison between Business and IT teams (5 years)
• Experience with the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) (1 year)
• Experience writing system requirements in compliance with federal child nutrition programs operated by the client (1 year)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements as a Business or Systems Analyst with 8+ years of experience
• Apply Agile methodology and user story analysis to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications
• Serve as an effective liaison between Business and IT teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and successful delivery of solutions
• Develop system requirements compliant with federal child nutrition program regulations administered by the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA)
• Support initiatives involving the Texas Automated Nutrition System (TANS) with knowledge of its operational and compliance context
• Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement validation within Agile delivery frameworks
• Ensure traceability, accuracy, and regulatory adherence in all documentation and solution design activities related to public-sector nutrition programs
