14527 - Construction Manager (Substation & Transmission) – Juno Beach, FL

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Juno Beach, FL (required);
• Experience with substation construction management, including leading and managing construction teams;
• Experience with electrical schematics, mechanical, civil, and steel structural drawings;
• Experience with safety regulations, protocols, and hazard identification/mitigation in construction environments;
• Experience with concrete work including flat foundations, drill piers, breaker pads, and GSU containment pits;
• Experience with EPC coordination, RFIs, and change orders;
• Experience with material procurement and material takeoffs;
• Experience reviewing QA/QC documents, and construction quality audits, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications;
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Project).
Preferred:
• Experience with specialized substation construction software.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job site, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards;
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, EPC partners, and other stakeholders to resolve RFIs and change orders;
• Keep detailed records of construction activities, progress reports, and safety inspections;
• Perform material procurement and material takeoffs;
• Review projects after completion and report successes, lessons learned, and opportunities for improvement;
• Support commissioning efforts and turnover through energization;
• Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, and materials in hazardous environments and across uneven ground; ability to work safely near equipment energized at hazardous voltage levels.
