14521 – GitHub Administrator (Hybrid) – Austin, TX

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Thurs) required to be onsite.

Required:
• Experience in Git-based version control administration (8+ years);
• Experience managing GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations (8+ years);
• Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies (8+ years);
• Experience in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation (8+ years);
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), (8+ years);
• Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews (8+ years);
• Experience in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation (8+ years);
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines (8+ years);
• Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning) (8+ years).
Preferred:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep), (4+ years);
• Experience with policy-as-code implementations (4+ years);
• Experience documenting governance standards and developer guides (4+ years);
• Experience leading technical enablement sessions (4+ years).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Analyze business objectives, user requirements, workflows, and system limitations to recommend solutions and document detailed functional specifications;
• Evaluate existing processes and systems, identify operational issues, and perform cost/benefit analysis to determine the feasibility of system enhancements or automation;
• Administer and govern GitHub Enterprise organizations, ensuring proper configuration, role‑based access control, SAML/SSO integration, and secure repository management;
• Develop, maintain, and automate GitHub Actions workflows using YAML, enabling consistent CI/CD practices and DevSecOps capabilities across development teams;
• Implement and monitor security and compliance controls, including audit logging, access reviews, GitHub Advanced Security features, and adherence to organizational policies;
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms—such as AWS—and automate processes using scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PowerShell;
• Create and maintain documentation for governance standards, security practices, CI/CD guidelines, and developer enablement; lead training or technical sessions as needed.
