14505 – Network Administrator (onsite) – Melbourne, FL

Type: Temp-to-Hire
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible conversion to direct hire.
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Melbourne, FL (required);
• Experience in network and server administration (5+ years)
• Experience with Level 2 troubleshooting and Return to Service for enterprise service outages;
• Experience with hands-on hardware troubleshooting for routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs;
• Azure Tenant Virtual Network (VNet)
• Cisco Devices and OSPF
• Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM)
• Current (Valid) Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or higher.
Preferred:
• Experience with Alcatel and Cisco Telephony administration;
• Experience with ITIL practices including Incident, Problem, and Change Management;
• Experience with Remedy Force Service Desk or similar ticketing systems;
• Microsoft Certified Professional, and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer network through proactive maintenance and optimization.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware, connected devices, and communication links.
• Perform Level 2 troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software problems within stated SLAs.
• Plan network capacity based on growth and collaborate on disaster recovery and appropriate use policies.
• Administer all network equipment, including firmware updates and software upgrades.
• Monitor and test network performance to provide statistics, reports, and recommendations for improvements.
• Document network configurations and develop procedures for system conversions and component testing.
• Ability to lift weights not to exceed fifty (50) lbs, and carry for distances not to exceed twenty (20) yards items that may seem awkward.
