Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, Texas (required);
• Experience with user acceptance, performance, accessibility, interface, security, and data conversion testing (7+ years);
• Experience managing, performing, monitoring, and reporting on test activities on modern technology platforms (7+ years);
• Experience reviewing, updating and creating test strategy, suites, and cases (7+ years);
• Experience documenting and reporting test results, data conversion and integration issues/concerns, and problem incident reports (PIRs)/defects statusts (PIRs)/defect status (7+ years);
Experience providing training and mentoring of testing team members (7+ years);
• Experience with coordinating scheduling of testing staff, test activities, and meetings (7+ years);
• Experience with test tools such as Jira, TestSavvy, JUnit, Selenium, Microfocus UFT, SQL (7+ years);
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle with emphasis on testing, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies (7+ years);
• Excellent leadership, communication, organization, planning, and problem-solving skills (7+ years);
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as JProfiler and JMeter (4+ years).
Preferred:
• Experience with Salesforce (4+ years);
• Experience with working directly with a Texas state agency in a QA Test Manager role (4+ years);
• Experience with team leadership or project management (4+ years).
Responsibilities:
• Perform highly advanced managerial tasks related to QA, testing activities, and software development analysis.
• Manage activities during all phases of the system development life cycle, including diagnosing and resolving software problems.
• Define and review User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies and align resources and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Coordinate sprint review feedback between vendor staff and business SMEs.
• Lead triage efforts and the tracking, prioritizing, and managing of software defects.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defect themes and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure UAT exit criteria are met and obtain final sign-off from the business units.
