Support Engineer, Exchange/Outlook (onsite)

14488 – Support Engineer, Exchange/Outlook (onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid or on site work as required.
Participation in on call rotations for after hours support of messaging services.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 Exchange Online in an enterprise environment. (5+ years)
• Experience with Exchange Online and Outlook operational support.
• Experience using PowerShell for routine administration, reporting, and operational tasks.
• Experience with email authentication and security standards (DMARC, DKIM, SPF, OAuth 2.0).
• Experience supporting enterprise email security platforms such as Proofpoint.
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident, problem, and service request management.

Preferred:
• Experience supporting Mergers & Acquisitions email migrations.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory and identity related messaging dependencies.
• Experience assisting with transitions from Basic Authentication to Modern Authentication for applications.
• Microsoft certification MS 203 (Messaging Administrator Associate).

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Monitor system performance using enterprise tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and perform capacity planning.
• Lead the deployment of security patches and firmware updates across the server fleet.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans and manage routine backup and restoration operations.
• Manage Active Directory objects, permissions, and security groups to ensure least-privilege access.
• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex hardware and software issues.
• Lead technical projects such as server migrations, domain consolidations, and cloud integrations and maintain detailed system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration logs
