14480 - Applications Development Analyst (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Programming/systems analysis experience.(2+ years)
• Experience in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget.
• Experience making recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code.
• Experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies when using modern development technologies like .Net, Java, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Experience with developing/optimizing data queries.
Preferred:
• Experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining legacy Natural/Adabas applications.
• Experience with the ETL tool Informatica.
• Programming/systems analysis experience (10+ years)
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with customers and business analysts to understand requirements that drive technical solutions.
• Align technical solutions with business and IT strategies while complying with architectural standards.
• Manage the full systems life cycle, including designing, coding, testing, and implementing application software.
• Provide recommendations for the development of new code or the reuse of existing application code.
• Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, and product evaluation.
• Perform systems analysis and design using established quality assurance and integration methodologies.
• Support the daily operations and maintenance of the agency's FLAIR Information Warehouse.
