14468 – Business Analyst (hybrid) – Austin, TX

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite

Required:
• Experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications (7+ years);
• Experience in performing data analysis from databases using SQLs (5+ years);
• Experience in creating mock-ups for user interfaces (5+ years);
• Experience creating requirement traceability matrix (5+ years);
• Experience writing test cases and test scripts (5+ years);
• Experience in testing of batch jobs and web services.

Preferred:
• Experience working on projects following Agile Development Methodologies (5+ years).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to define requirements that align with overall business strategies;
• Elicit, document, and manage business and technical requirements for migrating from legacy systems to new webbased solutions;
• Perform data analysis using SQL, map data fields from source to target systems, and support data transformation activities;
• Document AsIs and ToBe business processes, conduct gap analyses, and identify opportunities for process reengineering or technology improvements;
• Create mockups, functional specifications, requirement traceability matrices, and detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions;
• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts, validate data accuracy, support UAT, and test batch jobs and web services to ensure successful migration;
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitate workshops, manage expectations, communicate risks, and support Agile project activities.
