Start Date: ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid, expected to come in person for meetings and/or workshops. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
Experience and proven track record of delivering complex IT software projects (7+ years);
Experience in database development or software development (7 years);
Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or SQL Server development;
Experience with data modeling and database architecture;
Experience using ETL tools and data integration platforms;
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML;
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git);
Experience with Oracle and SQL Server source systems;
Experience with SQL target databases in vendor package environments;
Experience in data migration, cleansing, and data quality;
Experience with integration development using Web APIs and SQL/Oracle;
Experience collaborating with Data Champions on data quality decisions;
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
Preferred:
Experience with vendor tools, data modeling tools, and predefined Web APIs;
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Responsibilities:
Design and implement data migration processes.
Develop and optimize ETL processes to move data between systems.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and validation throughout the migration lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, stakeholders, and business analysts to gather requirements and support integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve migration and integration issues, including performance tuning and error handling.
Develop, test, and maintain integration components using various programming languages and tools.
Document technical specifications, migration plans, validations, and integration processes.
