Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Houston, TX (required);
• Accounting experience;
• Experience Preparing schedules and journal entries;
• Experience Preparing monthly state and federal reports;
• Experience with tax rates and new setups within ERP;
• Experience with Tax Filings and reimbursements.
Responsibilities:
• Severance Tax Filings for the following States: Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma;
• Maintain tax rates and new setups within ERP;
• Record severance tax reimbursements related to marketing fee adjustments;
• Calculate and process owner interest payments;
• Assist with owner inquiries;
• Build and maintain cross-departmental relationships to ensure information flow;
• Special projects or task as needed.
