Our Client is hiring a BESS CX Manager - RCO (remote) - 19116
Required:
• Experience with BESS;
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems installation and startup;
• Experience with the technical, performance, and integration of Li-Ion batteries as part of ESS;
• Experience with Commissioning process creation;
• Experience with DC systems (0-2,000Vdc) and AC systems (480V-34.5kV);

Preferred:
• Engineering or professional electrical experience in power systems construction and startup with min 100MW-hr or 5 EA energy storage systems and commissioning;

• Experience with SCADA;

Responsibilities:
• Participates in safety program and audits
• Support PPA Testing with Customer

Our Client is hiring a Commissioning Manager –Commissioning Operations Solar (remote) - 19115
Required:
• Experience involving utility solar power systems (5+ years);
• Experience in utility-scale photovoltaic construction and commissioning;
with utility-scale photovoltaic components (PV modules, combiners, inverters, transformers, met stations, substations);

Preferred:
• Experience working with electrical grid participants such as Transmission Operators, Independent System Operators, and Balancing Authorities (1-3 years);
• Professional or graduate-level academic experience in utility PV systems

• Experience with SCADA systems of industrial plants/processes;

 Responsibilities:
Prepare projects for PPA, GIA, and ISO testing
Manage test energy forecasts and AVR/AGC notifications with customers, the control center, and relevant external parties
Support IT & SCADA Teams with functional checks

Responsibilities:
• Oversee EPC and OEM commissioning activities including installation quality, compliance with procedures, system walkdowns, mechanical completion, and punch‑list management.
• Lead energization and testing phases by creating energization plans, managing pre‑energization activities, and directing substation testing, metering testing, and full system startup.
• Manage ISO/GIA/PPA performance testing by interpreting contractual requirements, developing complete testing plans, and coordinating all internal and external stakeholders for test execution.
• Serve as the Owner’s on‑site representative, ensuring safety, quality control, schedule adherence, and accurate reporting across all commissioning and turnover activities.
• Troubleshoot commissioning anomalies as the primary SME, including issues related to BESS, SCADA, protection & controls, PLCs, relays, inverters, and BMS systems.
• Report progress to senior leadership through daily/weekly/monthly updates, KPIs, recovery plans, and documentation required for project closeout.
• Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with Engineering, Business Management, and Commissioning teams to ensure all technical, contractual, and performance deliverables are met.
• Must be able to see color for wiring identification, stand for prolonged periods with occasional kneeling or bending, walk safely across uneven terrain and varying weather conditions, operate a motor vehicle between work locations.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds at a time.

Experience working for an EPC in renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning (3+ years).

Responsibilities:
Oversee and ensure highquality execution of all commissioning, startup, and operational turnover activities across assigned renewable projects (wind, solar, and battery storage).
Coordinate and manage EPC contractors, OEM startup teams, thirdparty technicians, and operations personnel during construction startup and commissioning phases.
Ensure all commissioning work complies with safety policies, project specifications, codes (NEC/NFPA), and contractual obligations including PPA and GIA requirements.
Lead and support reliability efforts to ensure plants achieve stable, lowdowntime performance at operational turnover.
Provide technical oversight and subjectmatter expertise on electrical construction, SCADA, protection & controls, inverters, BESS, and instrumentation systems.
Manage project schedules, staffing, reporting, and documentation while overseeing multiple sites and supervising NextEra commissioning personnel.
Collaborate with safety, engineering, quality control, and project management teams, contributing to strategic planning for manpower, safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
