14427 – Solar Inverter Engineer (onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);
• Experience in engineering (5+ years)
• Experience with utility-scale inverter and power electronics
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or other engineering discipline with equivalent experience with electrical systems.
Preferred:
• Experience with solar inverters (2+ years)
• Experience in operations support or control center environments
• Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Master's degree in electrical engineering
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Develop and refine troubleshooting guides for top inverter fault codes across multiple technologies.
• Build and maintain the inverter fault‑code database and Do‑Not‑Reset (DNR) lists.
• Use engineering principles and AI tools to analyze datasets and generate technical troubleshooting content.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between the Solar Inverter Fleet Team, ROCC, and CWE.
• Lead and complete process‑improvement assignments with broad objectives and minimal supervision.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis (RCA) and support component failure‑rate analysis and work‑plan development.
• Provide technical support to field technicians and ROCC operators, including countermeasure development and responses to regulatory data requests.
