Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Information technology (IT) program management experience (8+ years)
• Successful management of complex projects with a multi-year budget of $10 million or more. (8+ years)
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Office, and Visio. (8+ years)
• Experience with managing multiple competing priorities, conflict management, and facilitation. (8+ years)
• Experience with AI, automation tools, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma). (8+ years)
• Experience with strong command of PMO standards, stage-gate reviews, and executive reporting. (8+ years)
• Experience to translate organizational strategy into actionable program plans (8+ years)
• Experience in presenting complex technical concepts in business-focused language. (8+ years)
Preferred:
• Experience supporting C-suite or executive sponsors (5+ years);
• Strong negotiation and influence skills across IT, business, and external partners (5 years).
• Experience creating dashboards for executive consumption using tools like PowerBI or Tableau (5 years).
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous or fast-changing environments (5 years).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design and implement projects to simplify/automate complex tasks using AI and automation tools.
• Establish consistent project management practices (standardized charters, risk logs, and schedules) for all PMs reporting to the COO.
• Facilitate cross-division communication to build consensus and ensure alignment between IT and operations.
• Use "nudge" strategies and behavioral tactics to encourage team adoption of new processes.
• Ensure all projects comply with data governance, security, and ethical AI standards.
• Oversee and mentor interns and early-career professionals within the project team.
