14361 – Senior Java Developer (onsite) – Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Onsite. Working remotely is accepted. The resource must be in the office a minimum of four days a week, or as approved by the client.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular application development (8+ years)
• Experience in in Angular and AG Grid for building rich UI components (8+ years)
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture (8+ years)
Preferred:
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) or AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT-based coding assistants).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs. Testing and evaluating new programs. Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. Utilized technology such as AI to expedite the software development process. 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications.
• Build and optimize front-end components using Angular and AG Grid for dynamic, data-driven interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Integrate AI tools and techniques into application workflows for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent features.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
