14355 – Business Analyst (hybrid) – Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid, 3 days remote with 2 days (Thu & Fri) required to be onsite.
Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs (8 years);
• Experience in the business analysis areas of knowledge and its associated activities and tasks (8 years);
• Experience participating in software development reviews and providing advice and assistance to other team members in analysis, design, and test (8 years);
• Experience performing or participating in unit testing, support system testing and user acceptance testing (8 years);
• Experience in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy (8 years);
• Experience in software development lifecycle methodologies (8 years);
• Effective verbal and written communications with both IT and business professionals and clients (8 years);
Preferred:
• Experience with the implementation of case management systems (8 years);
• Experience with Jira project management software (8 years).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to align technology solutions with overall business strategies.
• Conduct business process reengineering and apply industry-standard business process mapping methodologies to improve operational effectiveness.
• Gather and document detailed business and technical requirements, including user needs, program functions, and system modification specifications.
• Prepare solution options and perform risk identification and financial analyses such as cost/benefit analysis, ROI, and buy/build evaluations.
• Participate in software development lifecycle activities, including analysis, design reviews, unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams (Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustainment), ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members by leveraging extensive experience in SDLC methodologies, business analysis best practices, and project coordination activities.
