14353 – Specialist Revenue Accounting System (onsite) – Doral, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 7 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid schedule. Available to come onsite as needed (once a month or so).
Required:
• Experience in business/financial planning and analysis processes with a working knowledge in accounting principles (3+ years)
• Experience with infrastructure requirements and components, SharePoint sites, and networks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Experience working with Azure DevOps and/or alternative software development and testing tracking systems. PLSQL queries knowledge
• Experience in testing enterprise size financial applications
Preferred:
• Experience in project management on software development projects
• PMP Certification
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Collaborates with business stakeholders, developers, and project support teams to define project scope and requirements, ensuring alignment with revenue accounting objectives.
• Designs, reviews, and executes user acceptance test plans, performing all testing activities to validate functionality and ensure defects are resolved before production release.
• Monitors project schedules and owns the change‑management process to ensure controlled, timely delivery of enhancements and fixes.
• Provides functional insights on revenue accounting and finance applications, recommending system improvements and participating in requirement‑gathering discussions.
• Reviews, coordinates, and organizes production deployment activities for revenue accounting systems to ensure smooth and accurate releases.
• Interprets user stories, develops business cases for defects, maintenance, and enhancements, and documents requirements using specialized software tools.
• Delivers production support by analyzing user‑reported issues, opening and tracking support cases, and guiding data‑mining activities to help business units identify and use revenue accounting data sources.
