Project Manager (onsite)

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 7 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.


Required:
• Experience researching, gathering, and analyzing complex information to devise solutions and prepare concise reports (8+ years);
• Experience developing and delivering reports that identify gaps in technology and operational effectiveness (8+ years);
• Experience mapping business processes, identifying process improvements, and planning/facilitating meetings and group problem-solving sessions (8+ years);
• Experience developing or contributing to SOWs, project charters, design documents, test plans, risk assessments, budgets, schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and cost estimates (8+ years);
• Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple sponsors and stakeholders, with strong communication, presentation, and teamwork skills (8+ years);
• Experience managing multiple projects across large organizations, including building and managing project plans and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans (8+ years);
• Experience driving issue resolution and removing project barriers (8+ years).

Preferred:
• Experience developing written briefing documents, administrative reports, and PowerPoint presentations for senior and executive leadership (7+ years);
• Experience summarizing and escalating issues appropriately and preparing weekly written and verbal status updates, including leading project status meetings and compiling/distributing status and budget reports (5+ years).

Responsibilities:
• Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects using project management best practices.
• Lead project initiation and planning, including charters, scope, schedules, budgets, work plans, and risk/issue management.
• Map and improve business processes, facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions, and recommend operational and technology improvements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams; communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly.
• Ensure timely resolution of issues, remove project barriers, and coordinate activities across related initiatives and programs.
• Prepare and present reports and briefings on project progress, gaps, and outcomes to senior and executive management.
