14309 - Business Data Analyst (Healthcare, Medicaid) (Onsite) – Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 7 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems (8 years).

Preferred:
• Experience working in an Agile environment (preferably SAFe) (3 years);
• Experience and knowledge of Client’s processes as well as Texas Medicaid and CHIP systems (3 years).

Responsibilities:
• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs and translate them into clear business and functional requirements;
• Reengineer business processes and identify opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, quality, or compliance;
• Support a major Medicaid system modernization project and enhancements to existing Medicaid applications in a SAFe environment;
• Provide project and product oversight for Medicaid IT-contracted systems, including integrated projects and dependent efforts;
• Oversee and support documentation and delivery of application enhancements, working closely with multiple Medicaid Enterprise Systems vendors;
• Assist in creating and maintaining processes, standards, and project documentation for Medicaid IT-contracted systems initiatives.
