14308 – Senior Java Developer (hybrid) – Austin, TX

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Position is ONSITE/Hybrid at the client’s location (with some hybrid work – determined by the hiring manager).

Required:
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language (8+ years);
• Experience in applications development on J2EE platform (8+ years);
• Experience in writing SQL for relational databases (8+ years);
• Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform (8+ years)
• Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security (8+ years);
• Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development (8+ years).

Preferred:
• Experience with Angular UI Framework (4+ years);
• Experience with Crystal Reports (4+ years);
• Experience with Power BI (4+ years).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java OOP principles and the J2EE platform.
• Build and enhance RESTful web services on the Spring framework, including Spring AOP for transaction management and security.
• Write optimized SQL queries and integrate relational database operations into application workflows.
• Develop and execute unit tests using JUnit to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and support full SDLC activities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across backend services and integrated components.
• Support front‑end and reporting integrations—including Angular, Crystal Reports, and Power BI—when needed to deliver full‑stack functionality.
