14264 - Sr. Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing, IT (remote) – Doral, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions.
Work Setting: remote
Travel: Less than 25% travel likely, with potential shipboard travel. Remote but must be willing to relocate to Doral, FL if converted.
Required:
• Experience managing IT global strategic sourcing (5-10 years);
• Experience with RFP process;
• Strong experience in sourcing strategy creation and execution (e.g., 7 Step sourcing methodology);
• Experience with Sourcing/Procurement systems;
• Experience in sourcing/purchasing for innovation-based and/or complex environments;
• Experience in one or more IT related disciplines (e.g., Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, Hardware, Connectivity);
• Experience conducting complex analyses and distilling them into concise business allocations;
• Experience interfacing with stakeholders at all levels, including Senior Executives.
• Experience with Information Technology ecosystems and products.
Preferred:
• Bachelor's Degree in an IT related discipline (e.g., Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, Connectivity), Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. Advanced degree;
• CPM certification or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and strategically source a portfolio of IT products and services, including Hardware, Software, Telecommunication Services, and Professional Services.
• Develop and issue RFQs/RFIs/RFPs; evaluate suppliers and analyze bids based on criteria like cost and quality.
• Partner and collaborate with Carnival leadership and Operating Companies to leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Perform project management duties, including overseeing and ensuring the quality delivery of assigned projects.
• Deliver against materials savings and "total cost of ownership" targets and goals.
• Collaborate with both Shoreside and Shipboard personnel.
• This role has no supervisory responsibility but may provide work direction to Sr. Analyst/Analyst roles.
