14225 - Product Engineering Manager (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience in high-tech industry, product engineering, and/or IT work, including managing teams responsible for software, hardware design, engineering, and development functions (7+ years);
• Experience managing research and development activities related to the design and development of software or hardware products, including qualification or re-qualification of new and existing products;
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements, evaluate product performance, and transition products from development to commercialization;
• Experience assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new product releases, feature updates, maintenance releases, and service pack releases;
• Experience acting as a technical consultant to the product organization, leading research, and prototyping innovative technologies and products;
• Experience ensuring alignment of the technology and architectural roadmap with the product/business roadmap;
• Experience in Product delivery, managing schedules, and tasks related to all aspects of product development.
Preferred:
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration, custom development, and requirements;
• Lead major product releases, ensuring feature enhancements and responding to customer requests;
• Manage product delivery schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development;
• Ensure proper alignment of engineering roadmaps with business objectives;
• Oversee the transition of products from development to commercialization;
• Evaluate product performance and address technical challenges during the product lifecycle;
• Prototype innovative technologies and solutions to support product development initiatives.
