Sr Application Security Engineer (Remote)

14189 – Sr Application Security Engineer (Remote) – Miami/Doral, FL

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing Client
Work Setting: Remote in hubs (TX, GA, FL).

Required:
• Experience in programming, engineering, and implementing IT security technical controls and tools (5+ years);
• Experience in software development, writing a code;
• Experience developing scripts and APIs for automated reporting and self-service capabilities
AWS/ Azure experience;
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Devops;
Experience with static analysis tools (Snyk, SonarQube);
Experience in penetration testing, red teaming, Burpsuite;
Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely;
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Help remediate findings and vulnerabilities in software applications
Able to understand context of sw dev (Python scripting, Bash)
Look at vulnerability report and understand what it means and the implications
Assisting brands around world implanting app sec program directives, scan tool online, reports published with findings, steer and guide teams
