14189 – Sr Application Security Engineer (Remote) – Miami/Doral, FL
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Full-time direct employment with Vitaver Staffing Client
Work Setting: Remote in hubs (TX, GA, FL).
Required:
• Experience in programming, engineering, and implementing IT security technical controls and tools (5+ years);
• Experience in software development, writing a code;
• Experience developing scripts and APIs for automated reporting and self-service capabilities
• AWS/ Azure experience;
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Devops;
• Experience with static analysis tools (Snyk, SonarQube);
• Experience in penetration testing, red teaming, Burpsuite;
• Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely;
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Help remediate findings and vulnerabilities in software applications
• Able to understand context of sw dev (Python scripting, Bash)
• Look at vulnerability report and understand what it means and the implications
• Assisting brands around world implanting app sec program directives, scan tool online, reports published with findings, steer and guide teams
