14170 - Project Manager (hybrid) – Miami, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid, need to be onsite at least once a week, probably 2-3, but it is up to the manager so stick to local candidates or someone that would relocate.
Required:
• Experience managing complex IT software projects in a large organization using Waterfall or Agile methodologies (7+ years);
• Project Management experience (7+ years)
• Law enforcement experience or experience with Law Enforcement Records Management System (LERMS)
• Experience managing end-to-end software projects from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, to support;
• Experience performing Scrum master activities, including sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and lessons learned log;
• Experience writing, creating, and maintaining project documentation such as Project Charter, RACI matrices, reports, user stories, and requirement documents;
• Experience with the full Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps;
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams;
• Experience creating and maintaining software project budgets;
• Experience coordinating infrastructure setup and estimating future infrastructure costs by working with different IT areas.
Preferred:
• Experience migrating the records management systems (RMS), (e.g. NicheRMS365, CrimeStar RMS, Tyler Technologies Enterprise Public Safety. Central Square Public Safety, Spillman Flex RMS, ARMS or similar);
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with end users and stakeholders to gather and document business requirements;
• Support the migration of a records management system from a mainframe to a new platform;
• Facilitate meetings with end users and project teams;
• Collaborate with the project manager and other team members;
• Assist in the implementation of the new Records Management System;
• Analyze and document business processes related to records management;
• Ensure clear communication between project stakeholders.
