Technical Solutions Lead, Oracle (onsite)

Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with Oracle databases, including developing DML and DDL statements to produce very complex queries and PL/SQL database objects (8+ years);
• Experience leading technical teams focused on the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products (5+ years);
• Experience with financial data, preferably involving accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls (3+ years);
• Experience with database and/or SQL performance tuning (3+ years);
• Experience developing PHP applications leveraging MVC frameworks, preferably CodeIgniter (3+ years);
• Experience using code repositories, preferably Git;
• Experience using continuous integration tools, preferably Jenkins;
• Experience with relational database designs;
• Experience with object-oriented design methodologies;
• Experience with Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM);
• Experience with database query tools (e.g., TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Navigator);
• Experience in database security, including role-based security;
• Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML);

Preferred:
• Oracle certification(s);
• Experience with standard principles of accounting, such as GAAP or International Financial Reporting Standards;
• Experience with environmental regulatory business processes and practices;
• Experience with Agile development, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), and Kanban;

Responsibilities:
• Work with software developers, business analysts, data analysts, and other technical and non-technical subject-matter experts to coordinate and facilitate work;
• Collaborate with various technical teams (DevOps, DBAs, Network Administrators, Enterprise Development Architects, PMO, etc.) to resolve issues/barriers with applications;
• Adhere to the DEP project management methodology, standards, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant technical standards for assigned user stories/tasks;
• Manage relationships with DEP program area business partners and develop strong, collaborative relationships with customers to achieve positive project outcomes;
• Assist in business process redesign efforts as needed;
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of program requirements and specifications as needed;
• Write, translate, and code software programs and applications per specifications.
