Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
For R161895:
• Experience with geographic information systems and geospatial data formats and metadata;
• Experience with ESRI GIS enterprise software and tools;
• Experience with imagery providers, formats, sources, and analysis;
• Experience performing spatial analysis in ArcPRO and ArcGIS Online;
• Experience creating interactive web maps and Apps in ArcGIS Online;
• Experience creating presentation content in ArcGIS Online, including Dashboards and Story Maps;
• Experience transforming GPS and tabular data into ArcGIS Online published feature services;
• Ability to learn and implement GEO AI and the Esri AI assistant tools within the guidelines of the Client’s AI policy.

• Experience with land survey and cadastral mapping;
• Experience with cadastral GIS mapping applications;
• Experience with Environmental Assessment or Natural Resource processing systems;
• Experience with projects related to cadastral mapping, property tax records, and/or land ownership and title research;
• Experience working with geospatial data;

• Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification.
Responsibilities:
For R161895:
• Create, review, and document methodologies for GIS workflows to support spatial data analysis using Department and stakeholder spatial and tabular data;
• Perform geospatial analysis to meet the needs of specific projects and address specific questions;
• Provide the geospatial information required to make effective business decisions and translate requirements into applications that employ appropriate decision support and reporting tools;
• Create maps, map graphics, and various spatial data report presentations as needed;
• Create web content in ArcGIS Online in the form of Story Maps, Web Maps, and mobile GIS applications like Survey123 to support program needs;
• Provide geospatial technical support and training to program staff;
• Work closely with customers, users, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

• Perform data clean-up, including analysis and resolution of system-generated data warnings and conflicts;
• Research, analyze, and resolve GIS and non-GIS data conflicts in response to LITS data conflicts and warnings. Conduct GIS and non-GIS data clean-up activities as assigned by DEP LITS staff;
• Perform research on issues related to public land ownership and less-than-fee interests;
• Review property appraiser data and mapping to solve issues related to public land ownership;
• Perform research of DEP internal systems data and hard copy records (e.g., BSM survey and BPLA Lease files) and document findings;
• Perform public records research of vesting deeds. Review Water Management District and other state agency GIS data;
• Research available digital and hardcopy mapping and land title across multiple state agencies and every Florida county.
