14143 – Project Manager (onsite) – Austin, TX

Estimated Duration: 9 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience leading Information Technology software development projects (8 years)
• Experience with a variety of software development topics, such as requirements writing, development, software testing, and code promotion (8 years).
• Experience with Project Management Life Cycle processes (8 years)
• Experience with project documentation including charters, project plans, work breakdown structures, resource management, status reports, issues logs, action logs, and decision tracking documents (6 years)
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams (6 years)
Preferred:
• Experience with following DFPS systems/programs: IMPACT, Community Based Care, CBC Batch and APIs (3 years)
• Lead Project Manager on Major Information Resources Projects (2 years)
• Experience with Texas Project Delivery Framework requirements for major Information Resources Projects (2 years)
• Experience with EIR Accessibility requirements and their technical specifications (2 years)
• SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information Systems) Certification requirements
• PMP or CAPM certification from the Project Management Institute
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Oversee a program of projects related to Community-Based Care.
• Lead Information Technology software development projects.
• Analyze complex information and develop plans to address identified issues.
• Manage changes in project scope, resources, and budget.
• Communicate project progress and upcoming activities to project resources and all levels of project stakeholders.
• Lead project teams to the successful completion of projects.
