14139 - Project Manager (onsite) – Tallahassee, FL

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.
Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience coordinating and facilitating Florida PALM functional activities (2+ years);
• Experience in IT project management, specifically in managing medium-to-large scale software application development projects (5+ years);
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently (5+ years);
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (5+ years);
• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., waterfall, iterative, agile).
Preferred:
• Experience with business intelligence platforms and their ability to produce descriptive results and visualizations;
• Experience with accounting, financial management, and ledger systems;
• Experience implementing large and complex IT systems;
• Experience with Client’s technical environment.
Responsibilities:
• Collect, maintain, and distribute project status meeting minutes to stakeholders;
• Provide routine status reports and briefings to project team, customers, and senior managers;
• Effectively coordinate resources and assignments among project assignees;
• Adhere to the Client's project management methodology, standards, policies, and procedures;
• Make recommendations to improve processes and policies;
• Facilitate updates to the organization’s business processes by business process owners;
• Understand and solve complex problems.
