Start Date: ASAP
Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client.

Required:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling (8+ years);
• Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems or products (5+ years);
• Experience with the operation and analysis of database and application software, standards, and data retrieval methodologies;
• Experience with importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts;
• Experience working within a structured Project Management environment;
• Experience with Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).

Preferred:
• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and/or PHP;
• Experience with database query tools such as TOAD and/or SQL Developer;
• Experience with Microsoft productivity software;
• Experience with UML (Unified Modelling Language);
• Experience with environmental regulatory business processes and practices;
• Experience with Agile development, specifically Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP) and Kanban;
• Experience with Client’s technical environment;
• Experience with various facilitation techniques to elicit business requirements and drive customer communications;
• Certification(s) from the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis), based on the BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge).

Responsibilities:
• Define business, financial, and operational requirements and system goals with key stakeholders;
• Research and analyze existing processes to develop strategies for improvement;
• Prepare and deliver reports and recommendations for improving operational processes across the organization;
• Develop, standardize, and maintain new or improved processes based on analysis;
• Gather, analyze, and document user requirements;
• Create business analysis documentation such as Visio process maps, use cases, and detailed functional specifications;
• Facilitate the negotiation of requirements among multiple stakeholders.
