14125– Senior Business Architect (Onsite)– Austin, TX

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Position will be 2 days (Wed and Fri) remote, with 3 days (Mon, Tue and Thu) required to be onsite
Required:
• Availability to work 2 days/week at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience in a Business Architect role or similar strategic capacity, with a strong emphasis on enterprise-level initiatives (12+ years):
• Experience successfully leading or significantly contributing to multiple large-scale digital transformation and business process reengineering projects (12+ years);
• Expertise with MITA (Medicaid Information Technology Architecture), including practical application in complex system environments. Experience with MITA State Self-Assessments (SS-A) (12+ years);
• Exceptional business modeling experience in methodologies and tools such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML), ArchiMate, and strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks like TO (10+ years);
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred:
• Experience with Health and Human Services (HHS) integrated eligibility systems (e.g., Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, CHIP). This includes a deep understanding of federal regulations, state-specific policy nuances, and the mod (12+ years);
• Experience working within a government or public sector environment (10+ years);
• Experience with Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies (10+ years);
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), TOGAF, BPMN, Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
• Master's degree.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Lead and significantly contribute to large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of current-state business processes, and design optimized, streamlined future-state processes.
• Develop and maintain business architecture artifacts, including business process models (using BPMN), data models, capability models, value streams, and organizational models.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, business units, IT teams, and external partners to elicit, analyze, and validate complex business requirements.
• Act as a liaison, ensuring seamless communication and understanding between business and technical teams.
• Translate strategic objectives and user needs into actionable business and functional specifications that guide solution development.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and design future-state business capabilities that leverage emerging technologies to achieve strategic organizational goals.
