14076 - Project Manager (onsite) – Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 12+ months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Hybrid - On Site and Telework.

Required:
• Availability to work at the client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience with Agile/project management methodologies and practices (3 years);
• Experience leading large, complex technology-related projects (3 years);
• Experience developing & analyzing complex business requirements (3 years).

Preferred:
• Experience understanding software development lifecycles (1 year);
• Experience with documentation of business technology challenges (1 year).

Responsibilities:
• Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of a project;
• Lead various technology and innovation projects that directly impact the daily operations of DPS to achieve Agency missions, goals, and objectives;
• Develop and analyze complex business requirements;
• Document business technology challenges;
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals;
• Work under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment;
• Candidates will meet the general qualifications of Project Manager, Level 2, Emerging Technology.
